In August I visited 13 states, of which 4 states and 13  western parks I had not already visited by motorcycle. Total trip length of 7467 miles was divided between 4843 miles pulling the trailer and 2624 miles of riding the bike.

I followed a counter-clockwise route, heading out through New Mexico and finishing from California back into Arizona.

I used the same approach as last year, trailering the bike and camping in the trailer. I hit each park on the bike, using the trailer as a base from which to explore the areas. Urban camping in the camper did NOT work in the 3 western states. Rampant homelessness has caused all overnight parking (Walmart, etc.) to be prohibited so I had to check into motels.
