The Redwood Forest was a little bit of a disappointment to me, but it is not necessarily the fault of the trees. Having seen the giant sequoias so many times, it’s hard to be impressed by tall skinny trees. But that’s just me.

The road conditions on the way to the Lady Bird Johnson Grove, however, are entirely the fault of the park service. The Africa Twin suspension once again proved it’s worth, but I would hate to try this on a cruiser or two-up.

The ride along the ocean was nice.
